Global learning: During the program's second year, students take a 10-day trip abroad to explore international business operations in countries such as Chile, Argentina and China. Gain unique exposure to global commerce. 

EXCEPTIONAL VALUE AND CONVENIENCE

The Executive MBA is a two-year, 48-credit program designed especially for working professionals. Classes are held every other Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Competitively priced, UT's program was rated a "Best Value" by Fortune magazine. Meals, an iPad and an international trip are included in the cost of tuition. Financial assistance is available.

Executive MBA Admission

Admission to the Executive MBA program is competitive and applicants are encouraged to apply early. To apply, please use either paper (PDF) or online application. Applications are not reviewed until the Office of Graduate and Continuing Studies receives all required materials. Students are notified of an admission decision after materials have been received and evaluated. 

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS AND DOCUMENTS

  • Completed application

  • $40 application fee

  • Official transcripts of all previous college work received directly from each institution

  • Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) score report. Pending approval, the admission committee may waive the GMAT based on a minimum GPA of 3.0 or better from an accredited four-year institution, relevant coursework, required work experience and a satisfactory entry interview.

  • Two professional reference forms (PDF) completed by individuals who attest to the applicant's professional background and academic potential.

  • Resume

  • Personal Statement

  • Individual interviews are required.

  • Applicants are required to have seven years of relevant professional work experience.

Application deadlines:

  • Domestic applicants: March 1 for priority admission or May 1 for final admission. After May 1, applications will be accepted and reviewed based on space availability.

  • International applicants: June 1 for final admission
